SeekDeep

SeekDeep is one command line program that contains several programs within that all combined together make up the SeekDeep targeted sequencing analysis pipeline. Currently installs only MAC, Ubuntu, and other UNIX based systems is supported.

SeekDeep was written to run on UNIX based system and has not been explicitly written to support Windows operating systems. The easiest way to install SeekDeep on Windows is to run a Ubuntu virtual machine and then the instructions for Ubuntu can be followed. Here is a link for one such virtual machine http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/virtualbox/downloads/index.html unfortunately I don’t have much experience with install these on Windows machines so documentation on how to accomplish this is lacking and will built in the future.
